Apple can delay hunger

Many people tend to go hungry one hour after taking their lunch. Many people eat as early as 11:00 a.m. at cafeteria, canteen, restaurant and fast food chains.

The disadvantage of taking lunch ahead of time is the tendency to overeat and pile up more calories.

To delay hunger, you may eat high-fiber fruits like apples.

According to research conducted by the Pennsylvania State University five grams of fiber present in a medium apple will eliminate your hunger. This may help in making you eat less with your meal.

When people eat apples before lunch, they has 187 less calories that those who didn’t. On the other hand, those individuals who have apple sauce or gulp on a fiber-fortified apple sauce juice first doesn’t have any effect on their hungry tummy. Why is this so? Since eating apples needs more chewing as this can stimulate a greater feeling of fullness.

An apple a day is not only a healthy routine since it also helps you avoid overeating.
