SEGA Launches New Game Console Named Sega Zone

Sega will soon join the game console bandwagon that is also comprised of Playstation, Wii and the Xbox. The new game console boasts off 20 classic Sega titles such as Sonic and the Knuckles, Golden Axe, Alex Kid and 30 other games, half of which is motion controlled.

Pocket-Lint said that Sega Zone will be controlled with two wireless remote controls like that of the Wii. Game aficionados will certainly enjoy playing various sports classics such as table tennis, darts, fencing, beach volleyball and golf by using the controller in front of the screen just like what they do in Nintendo console.

Sega is definitely not a new kid on the block in the console market. For the past few years, Sega already unveiled its Sega Mega Drive/Genesis Sega Station and Deam Cast to the gaming market.

Sega will indeed have its hands full especially in the console market and will surely face stiff competition from formidable rivals like Playstation, Wii and the Xbox.
