Dagupan City :: Dagupan Bangus Festival

Dagupan City will again hug the limelight. The former World Guinness Book of Records holder for the longest barbecue grill will showcase its amazing sights and sounds with the celebration of the Bangus Festival again from April 15 to May 1.

The highlight of the event is the Kalutan ed Dagupan where a Mardi Gras type of party will be held even as thousand of milkfish will be simultaneously grilled side by side. The said event will highlight some of the countries top performing bands too as well as prominent celebrities. The Bangus Festival street dancing from the city as well as the invited performers from all over province will convene in the celebration as they will surely give spectators some great excitement and entertainment with dazzling costumes and truly superb coordination and awesome dance steps. The Bangus Rodeo will showcase the bangus or the milkfish as competition for the heaviest, largest nd the likes will be held. The Bangus Rodeo will also stage competition for the fastest fish classifier and other exciting treats. The 101 Ways to Cook Bangus is cinched to give aspiring chefs in the city to display their cooking prowess and show off their gastronomic recipes.
